Grand Junction, CO - Each time Burlington Stores opens a new branch, they celebrate by adopting and funding local classrooms in their new store community. District 51 is excited to announce that Burlington Stores, a national discount retailer, has donated $5,000 to Dual Immersion Academy through its partnership with the national non-profit organization AdoptAClassroom.org. This generous donation is a part of their celebration for the upcoming opening of their new store in Grand Junction, CO, scheduled for Saturday, November 4th.
The $5,000 will be directed towards purchasing essential school supplies, ensuring that the students at Dual Immersion Academy have the learning materials and tools needed for success, both now and in the future. The connection with AdoptAClassroom.org facilitated this contribution, thanks to the efforts of a representative from their team, and this support will benefit numerous classrooms at the school.
Principal Tyler McLaughlin expressed his warm welcome to the new Burlington store in Grand Junction and extended heartfelt thanks for their generous donation through their partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org. “Our teachers were incredibly excited when they received the news, and they are eagerly preparing to provide their students with the essential resources they require this year.
