Testing Information

School District 51 is pleased to announce a new partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado to provide all D51 students, staff, and families access to timely, accurate, and free COVID-19 testing. With this new partnership, all D51 students, staff, and families can get tested by appointment for COVID-19 starting next week at two school sites.

Grand Mesa Middle School and Fruita Monument High School are both available to staff, students, families, and the Mesa County Community, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

D51 staff and students should use this link when registering: https://www.primarybio.com/l/d51
D51 staff will need their employee ID number, and students can use this password: 9V2B48WR

Members of the public can use this link to register: https://www.primarybio.com/l/cdphe

In addition to the new school testing sites, testing will continue to be offered at Colorado Mesa University and the Mesa County Fairgrounds. Members of the community are welcome to use any of these four testing options and do not need an ID number.

Those who get tested through the partnership with COVIDCheck Colorado should receive results in 72 hours or less. Those who test positive for COVID-19 will receive a phone call from a telehealth provider with more information and guidance on self-isolation. As required by law, all positive cases will be reported to local public health agencies and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. Those who have been exposed to the virus will be notified in accordance with the state’s contact tracing protocols and health privacy practices.

We want to thank Colorado Mesa University for partnering with D51 to help bring COVIDCheck Colorado to the district. Our continued partnership with CMU, Mesa County Public Health, and our local officials will help to keep our schools safe and open for in-person learning.
