free covid-19 school screening testing program
**THIS PROGRAM IS UNRELATED TO THE BINAX TESTING OFFERED BY MESA COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH AT THE MESA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS. FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THAT PROGRAM, CLICK HERE.**

School District 51 is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to offer free, confidential COVID-19 testing at all D51 schools. The state program provides schools with Binax rapid tests at no charge. Trained school personnel administer the nasal swab tests, which deliver results in just 15 minutes. Testing is open to both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. This testing is for symptomatic staff and students only. There is not currently a routine testing element to this program in D51.

This program is entirely voluntary, but students and staff must enroll in the program in order to be tested. Enrolling as soon as possible prevents any delay in receiving a test in the future. Students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian enroll them in the program; the enrollment form includes mandatory parental consent. No child can be tested through this program without parental consent.

In order to enroll in and provide consent for symptomatic testing, please follow the directions below.
1)
Go to: https://trackbynovir.com/register

2) Staff & Parents/Guardians, please register with your own name and contact information first.
3)
The last question on the first page will ask for your Organization Code. The code is unique to each school, so please ensure you enter the code for the school you are affiliated with or your student attends. If you have multiple children, you can use your eldest child’s school for yourself, then later when you add household members, you can add each child’s school organization code individually.
4)
Fill in the requested information, agree to the consent terms, and respond to some recent health questions - there will be a few different screens; you will get a "Success" pop-up once you finish the registration process.
5)
If you are a staff member with no children to register, your registration and consent are complete and you are ready to be tested.
6)
If you are a Parent/Guardian, click the + Add a Household Member (highlighted in red) link to register each of your students. This will ensure you are notified when their results are entered.
7)
On the second screen of filling out information for your child, please add the organization code for the school that your child attends and the affiliation associated with their grade level (K through 12).
8)
Your registration and consent are complete and your child is ready to be tested, no earlier than Nov. 17.
