October 17, 2019, at Stocker Stadium. The festival will begin at noon with field shows and end with a guest performance by the Colorado Mesa University Marching Stampede and an awards presentation at 3:45 p.m.

The festival provides an opportunity for high school marching bands from across the Western Slope to qualify for the Colorado Bandmasters Association State Marching Band Festival. Class 4A-5A bands will compete in the state festival Oct. 28-29 at the U.S. Air Force Academy, and Class 1A-3A bands will compete in the state festival Nov. 4 at Stocker Stadium in Grand Junction.

Field show tickets can be purchased the day of the festival at the entrance gate to Stocker Stadium. Prices are $12 for
adults; $7 for students, active military and seniors over 60; and free for children under the age of 5.

The State Qualifying Marching Band Festival brings thousands of students and spectators to our beautiful valley each year, and we truly appreciate the community’s support. Parking will be extremely limited at Lincoln Park all day due to the size of the regional qualifier. The only parking available from the 12th Street entrance is handicapped parking, so all other vehicles should avoid using this entrance.
