Pomona Elementary is temporarily shifting to remote learning. Based on the number of learners who are quarantined, the rising case numbers of COVID-19 in the valley, and a desire to keep everyone safe and healthy Pomona will learn remotely for the week of November 16-20. This is a temporary change and the school fully intends to return to in person learning on December 1, 2020. The school will be in touch with families with more information including class schedules, expectations, access to meals, etc.
While elementary schools as a whole have lower quarantine numbers at this time, every school is different and situations can change quickly. Decisions about remote learning will be made on a case-by-case basis and announced as rapidly as possible.
Students from all D51 schools, whether quarantined, in-person, or remote learning, can access school breakfast and lunch at the sites listed at bit.ly/d51altmeals.
