Grand Junction, COMesa County Valley School District 51 is launching a public opinion survey today, May 1, 2019, at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D51survey2019. A Spanish version of the survey is available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/D51survey2019ESP. Paper copies will be provided at schools for those without internet access.

All District 51 parents, students, staff, and community members are invited to take the survey. The 15-question survey asks about the possibility of bond measure to improve safety and building conditions at four D51 high schools and asks participants to rate items – including next year’s calendar, district transparency, building conditions, and people’s performance – on a scale of one to five, with five stars being the best rating. A section for comments is also included.

After the survey closes at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, results will be compiled and presented to the D51 School Board. The goal of the survey is to learn more about public opinion of the district and better serve our learners in the years to come.
