Grand Junction, CO – Students from Central High School have a unique opportunity to learn about desert ecology, local history, river safety, and leadership this month during Environmental Science Day Rafting Trips organized by Colorado Canyons Associations.

Day trips will take place throughout September and take students along the Gunnison River on an approximately 13.5-mile trip.

School District 51 and Central High School would like to thank CCA for providing all rafting equipment, gear, a rafting guide and leader, buses and food for these trips, as well as the Bureau of Land Management and Residential Youth Services for their support.
