21-22 Online Learning Interest Survey

Dear DOL Families,
As we begin to plan for the 2021-2022 school year, DOL leadership is surveying families to identify who would be interested in continuing online learning next year. This information will greatly support us in planning for next year, so we can ensure the highest quality experience for our students, families, and teaching staff.
If you feel your child/ children will continue with online learning in D51 next year, then please complete our survey.

CMAS Testing is coming!! Action may be needed.

CMAS is a state assessment designed to measure a student’s academic progress and provide teachers more information to improve instruction.
Grades 3-8 are assessed in ELA & Math, Grades 5, 8 & and 11 are assessed in Science. Participation in these assessments is strongly encouraged. However, parents may excuse the student from participation.
If you choose to excuse your student from participation, the Parent Request for Exemption form MUST be completed and turned into the Home School building. A signed copy can also be scanned and emailed to: Pam.Smetak@d51schools.org by Feb 12, 2021.

If your student plans to participate, since CMAS is not an online assessment, they will need to take these assessments at their Home School location. Testing dates and times will vary from building to building, but will fall sometime within March 31, 2021 – April 28, 2021. There will be NO testing during the week of Spring Break.
If a signed Request for Exemption is not returned, you should receive additional communication from the Home School with a testing schedule for your student.

Ms. Fubler's  Advisory Class welcomes you to our District Online School.
