Enrolling New Students in District 51

Welcome to School District 51 where we are providing pathways to graduation to ensure student success!

Where will my student attend?

School Finder

Once you have completed the online registration process below, please bring the following information to your school of attendance to complete the enrollment process:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Immunization record
  • Proof of Residency (examples: utility bill, mortgage statement, etc.)

Parents may complete the registration process Online for the 2019-2020 school year starting on July 23rd through ParentVUE

If you do not have an existing ParentVUE account and are new to our district, you will need to create one. Upon creating your account, an email will be sent with further instructions. Email confirmation may take up to 30 minutes; also check your Junk/Spam folders.

Previously Enrolled D51 students

If your student has previously attended a District 51 school and you have a ParentVUE Account

  • Log into ParentVUE to complete the registration starting July 23rd.

  • If your student has previously attended a District 51 school and you DO NOT have a ParentVUE account please, complete the ParentVUE registration form and return it to your student’s school at which time they will create an account for you.

    Kindergarten

    A child may enter kindergarten if five years old on or before July 15 of the year of enrollment. Younger students may be accepted if transferring from another public school kindergarten program and if the principal or designee determines that placement of the student in kindergarten is appropriate.

    A child who is four years old on or before July 15 and has been identified as a highly advanced gifted student in accordance with applicable state law and the District 51 Early Access Program Plan may enroll in kindergarten, if the principal or designee determines the placement of the student in kindergarten is appropriate.

    Students enrolling in the first grade may enter if they are six years old on or before July 15 of the year of enrollment. Younger students may be accepted if transferring from a first grade in another public school and if the principal or designee determines that placement of the student in first grade is appropriate.
