District bus transportation plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of students within our school district. District 51 contracts with Student Transporation of America (STA), an external company, to provide our bussing services. District bus transporation not only offers convenience for eligible families, but it also helps reduce traffic congestion around schools and minimizes the carbon footprint by consolidating transportation needs. The district continually works with STA to monitor and improve our transportation services, also working closely with families, schools, and our local community to address any concerns and enhance the overall experience for students relying on bus transportation.
